Suzan L. Jones, 50 of Joplin, departed this life Sunday, June 14 at her home.
Suzan was born to Robert L. and Ruth (Jennings) Jones on August 15, 1958 in Fayetteville, Arkansas . The family later moved to Starkville, Mississippi where she graduated high school, and attended Mississippi State University. Suzan returned to Arkansas where she was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville and Friends for Fayetteville. Suzan worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers Arkansas as a public relations coordinator. In her free time she enjoyed photography and writing. She was very proud of her two daughters; Kati and Annabelle and her three nephews; Alex, Dylon, Elliott and two nieces; Emily and Olivia.
Ms. Jones is survived by her parents, two daughters Katherine Grazziani of Los Angeles , Ca., Annabelle Swink of Fayetteville , Ar. one sister; Sarah McBee of Joplin, and one brother; Brad Jones of Calhoun, La..
Memorial service is scheduled for Friday, June 19 at 1pm at the Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary with Father Justin Monaghan officiating.
The family requests contributions be made to the Joplin Humane Society in care of the mortuary.
